The BiPolar Bears band is one of Australia’s rock’n’roll institutions – playing their own brand of rock music and education about mental health to audiences for over 20 years.

Having serious mental illnesses hasn’t held the band members back. They have performed hundreds of gigs from Sydney Opera House to psych wards, the iconic Espy Hotel, St Kilda festival, Federation Square, Brisbane’s Powerhouse and gigs in just about every country town in Victoria.  Read their full bio here.

Rockin’ For Mental Health Schools Program

Rockin’ for Mental Health is a one-hour program to get secondary school students thinking and talking about their own mental health. The band taps into young peoples’ appreciation of music and provides information on how to understand when you have a mental health issue and how to seek help.

The 1 hour program features live original and covers songs and the band members talking about their own mental health stories.
